Between 1883 and 1929, steel magnate Andrew Carnegie funded the construction of over 2,500 public libraries worldwide, transforming American civic architecture by making free access to knowledge a core community staple. In 1913, Port Townsend opened its own Carnegie Library in the Uptown district, designed in the classic Classical Revival style with fine brickwork, arched entryways, and grand stone detailing. As one of the few original Carnegie libraries in Washington State still serving its original purpose as a public library today, it remains a beloved architectural landmark on the Olympic Peninsula. This lunar rock grey hoodie honors that intellectual heritage with a detailed architectural line-art illustration of the 1913 building, framed by "CARNEGIE LIBRARY - PORT TOWNSEND 1913."

Designed with a relaxed oversized fit and heavyweight fleece, this hoodie delivers both style and durability for cool Northwest days. The garment-dyed finish gives it a unique, lived-in look, making each piece subtly one-of-a-kind. Crafted from a thick 10 oz yard blend of 80 percent cotton and 20 percent recycled polyester (Heather Grey options in a 70/30 mix), it is a staple for easy layering and everyday comfort. Styled with a modern edge, it features a sleek two-panel hood without drawcords, a front kangaroo pocket, and heavy-duty ribbed cuffs and waistband.
